Francis Gomez

Executive Managing Director

Mr. Gomez has broad experience in various levels in the utilities business encompassing energy, water, waste treatment, gases… in addition to EPC related works in the oil & gas, power, petrochemical & process industries. The extent of his involvement includes general management, business development, operations, asset management, project development and customer management. He has a proven track record to be able to quickly analyze key business drivers and develop and implement strategies for sustainable earnings. Mr. Gomez has served on several boards globally and has worked successfully alongside major international firms and government agencies having concluded major cross-border deals.

Mr. Gomez holds a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Control Engineering.

Sami Alghamdi

Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Sami has 19+ years of experience of leadership and management experience in petrochemicals plants. He has excellent technical background in variety of fields such as asset management and reliability for plant equipment and systems, field maintenance and planning, construction, commissioning & startup, inspection and condition monitoring, material management and spare parts, turn around and plant shutdowns management, reliability methodology and maintenance strategies including preventive maintenance. Mr. Sami has served on several positions such as Sr. Manager Asset Engineering, Sr. Manager Inspection and Static Equipment, Sr. Manager Polymer Maintenance, Sr. Manager Maintenance Planning previously.

Mr. Sami holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mechanical Engineering.

 

 

Theagarajan Eswaran

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Eswaran brings with him over 20 years of experience in the Utility sector and has worked with companies like Qatar Electricity & Water Company, Ras Girtas Power Company before moving to Australia in the year 2013, where he had a short stint of varied experience in Information Technology and Taxation. During his tenure in the Middle East, he has involved himself in execution of four mega IWP Projects and later was seconded as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Eswaran graduated with a degree in Commerce from Bharathiyar University, India in 1988. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an associate member of the CPA Australia.

Turki Al-Ghamdi

Corporate Sr. Manager

Mr. Turki has 24 years of experience in the petrochemical plants.  He worked in operation, QAQC for 10 years. Additionally, he has substantial experience as root cause analysis leader in various facilities in Europe & Saudi Arabia. Mr. Turki worked as IS&HSE section head & manager for four years. He joined RAWEC/RPC (IWSPP) as HSE manager in July 2017. Mr. Turki now works as RAWEC Senior Manager and is responsible for all corporate functions in RAWEC, including Human Resource, IT & Document Control, Supply Chain, Admin, Quality Management and IWSPP responsibilities of IS & HSE in close collaboration with Rabigh Power Company (RPC).

Mr. Turki holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. .

Ahmed Bilal

Senior Asset Manager

Mr. Bilal has an experience of more than 22 years in various technical roles of Power plants i.e. Design Engineering, Construction, Testing & Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of various capacities in government and private sector in India. Mr. Bilal has gained experience in many managerial roles including the Plant General Manager for a 540 MW Captive Power Plant.
Mr. Bilal joined Acwa Power as Director Asset Management before joining RAWEC in 2017. He successfully saw the completion of RAWEC phase II facility and other projects at Acwa Power.

Mr. Ahmed Bilal holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Werner Renk

Senior Technical Advisor

Mr. Renk has an extensive track record of managing Power Plants in different countries in MENA region. A decisive operations leader and innovative problem-solver, he is known to his colleagues in the industry as a methodical front-runner in resolving pressing technical issues and concerns. His undisputable exposures in the power industries matched with his keen attention to details made him as one of the most crucial assets of the organization.

Mr. Renk advocates mental and technical precision, brings with him over 20 years of experience in the Utility sector and his unquestionable technical knowledge in O&M, quality assurance management and cost control.

Milind Kumar

Business Planning Manager

Mr. Kumar brings 30+ years’ experience of project and operations in power, steam, water and
refinery/petrochemical industries. He has worked with a range of performance contracts, involved in complex commercial and business challenges and has been fortunate to have opportunity to work with people from diverse cultures through his work in Middle East, Australia, Asia, UK and Africa.

Milind has led, negotiated and managed large contracts for operations and services and contributed to company growth and profitability including though planning and streamlined business processes.

Milind’s strength has been to work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve cost-savings, improved resource utilization, development of simplified KPIs, identification of actionable improvements and ongoing monitoring. He also brings strong awareness of operations risk and opportunity, cash-flows, cost & profitability drivers and processes for business growth and sustainability.

Milind has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Project Management. He is also certified to the highest level of Program and Project Director by global Project Management body.
